Mechanical and Hydraulic TESTING
This lab has a complete machine workshop and other facilities for the preparation of ferrous and non - ferrous samples as well as the testing equipment used .
The testing aim is to determine the physical properties of these materials and whether they meet strength and durability requirements of the stipulated specifications or not
- Tensile tests, bend tests and dimensional checks for deformed reinforcing steel bars and sections .
- Welder qualification tests : Tensile and bending testing of samples submitted by clients or COMIBASSAL'S inspectors .
- Tensile testing of metal bar samples .
- Compression testing .
- Hardness testing : Vickers, Brinell
- Impact Load tests .
In addition to its own services, the physical testing laboratory performs tests on P.V.C., paper rubber, textile .. etc under sub-agreements with other laboratories .
Pipes, Valves & Fittings Testing
COMIBASSAL'S inspections of pipes, valves and fittings include verifying materials certifications, major dimensional checks, and all physical and chemical tests including :
international standards
The inspection plan mainly follows the client's requirements and usually includes verification for compliance with national and international standards specifications; such as ES, API, ASME, BSI, DIN ... etc .
